| Do you know what the possibility of speed humps being installed throughout the Lexington Oaks Speedway is? This seems to be a major issue that is avoided. Many other communities do this to control speed for the safety of their residents and children. Not to mention the limit should be reduced to 30 mph. Why is the community not being proactive with this? Unfortunately it is probably going to take a child to get hit by one of the many speeders before action is taken. Asking people to slow down doesn't work, and the police aren't interested in monitoring speed. mweibe hotmail.com ****************************************************************************************************************************** Wanted to pass along the word that along with atleast 9 other homeowners in Northampton both of my vehicles were broken into. They dumped out the contents of my baby backpack, took the backpack, my cell phone and Ray Ban sunglasses. From my husband's car they lifted the Sirius Satellite radio and remote BUT left the $1.00 bill on the visor....SMART! Both of our vehicles were locked so this is even more frustrating than if it was us forgetting to lock the car. My backpack was recovered by the deputy in someone's yard on Spectacular Bid and I'm hoping our other belongings could be found as well. If your teenage children should hear of talk of any "new" items acquired by other kids in the neighborhood please encourage them to let you know so that we can put an end to these thefts. Thanks! ***************************************************************************************************************************** I wanted to share a web site with you that's a good idea for everyone to visit. When you visit this site you can enter your address and a map will pop up with a small icon of a house when you live. Surrounding your house you will see red, blue, and green, dots covering your entire neighborhood. When you click on one of these dots, a picture of a person will appear with an address and the description of the crime he or she has committed. This site was developed by John Walsh from Americas Most Wanted. Consider this just another tool to help us keep ourselves and our families safe. Please pass this on to everyone you know and care about. **************************************************************************************** Doris Dolan asked me to send you a posting for the final Bingo game this Sunday - could you post this message? Peggy Barr ***************************************************************************************** It is not necessary to stop on the opposite side of a school bus stop if you are driving on a divided roadway. Also, people have taken to riding their bikes on the Boulevard instead of the sidewalk. This can be very dangerous during night time hours. Perhaps the bikes should stay on the sidewalk for safety reasons *************************************************************************************************************************** Has anyone heard anything about a elementry school going up on 54 in Wesley Chapel?
