re: this week's news

Hello to all!! Here we are the beginning of a brand new year. Hopefully, you have all received your Lexington Oaks Newsletter and had time to scan through it. There are lots of exciting things happening here in Lexington Oaks this year. Starting with the upcoming annual meeting in February.

The CDD is working on the new fitness center, and it looks as though SR54 will be opening soon which is great news for us as the front pavers are going to be fixed when SR54 opens.

I hope all of you took the time to register to vote. The Presidential primary election is going to be January 29, 2008. So mark your calendars and get out to vote.

Our Master HOA elections are going to be held in February. The cut-off for anyone interested in running for a position on the board is January 18, 2008.

This is going to be a public workshop Jan. 14, 6:30pm-8:30pm, Victorious Life Church on Old Pasco Road, concerning major roadway projects in the Wesley Chapel area. The purpose of this workshop is to provide information, project updates, project status and address questions received by the County regarding the following Capital Improvement Projects:
CR 54 ( Cypress Creek Town Center to Magnolia Blvd.)
CR 54 ( Magnolia Blvd. to Oakley Blvd)
CR 54 ( Oakley Blvd to CR 581)
SR 54/ I 75 Interchange
SR 54 ( I 75 to Curley Road)

This will be presented by the County staff, the construction company and Fl. DOT. Residents are encouraged to attend this public workshop.

Since we have all endured this endless roadwork  on 54 and don't see the end in sight, this workshop hopefully will answer some questions.
